EMPOWERING THE BEAUTY & TALENT OF LATINAS NATIONWIDE
THE EVENT: Nuestra Belleza USA (NBUSA) is an event designed to celebrate the Beauty, and empower the Talent of young Latinas in the US. Our contestants are provided with an exciting and unique pageant experience by giving them the skills they need in order to become a confident and successful belleza on and off our pageant stage. The selected contestants are trained and coached by our team of experts that help them get ready for pageant day. NBUSA isn’t just about beauty; we believe in empowering young Latinas, and promoting higher education, and celebrating our roots and our cultura.
Our successful star-studded annual event features a spectacular pageant show year after year! We pride ourselves in producing an entertaining show with unique themes, musical guests, live performances, celebrity & professional hosts & judges, and an exciting showcase focusing on the stars of the night.. our bellezas!
THE PURPOSE: Nuestra Belleza USA was founded by Leticia Castro, an Emmy award winning bilingual journalist, former beauty queen, and Nuestra Belleza Latina finalist. Leticia created NBUSA as a way to give back to the community by supporting other young Latinas - giving them the opportunity to reach their goals, and help the community themselves while experiencing personal & professional growth.

INTERVIEW:
Pageant judges spend time with each contestant to learn about her successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Attention is focused on her poise, charm, self-confidence and her ability to communicate, as well as the substance of her answers.
SWIMSUIT:
Attention is focused on the confidence with which each contestant carries herself. Numerical measurements, height, or weight are not considered in the judging.
HERITAGE COSTUME:
Attention is focused on the confidence, creativity, execution, and story. This costume should be representative of the contestants’ Latin/Hispanic heritage. It can be traditional or fantasy.
EVENING GOWN:
Each delegate wears a gown she has chosen for herself. Attention is focused on each contestant's overall appearance, self-confidence, sense of style and the beauty she brings to the gown of her choice.
ON-STAGE QUESTION:
Each selected delegate will respond to a question provided by the judges. Attention is focused on her personality, her ability to communicate in front of a crowd, as well as the substance of her answer

Who is eligible?
- Teen contestants must be between the ages of 14-18 by the date of their state pageant. (Not Married / No Kids)
- Miss contestants must be between the ages of 18-28 by the date of their state pageant. (Not Married / No Kids)
- Ms. contestants must be over 18 by the date of their state pageant. (This category is for married women, single moms, or single/divorced/widowed ladies over the age of 28)
- Must appreciate Latin/Hispanic culture.
- Must be in Las Vegas during pageant week.
- No experience is necessary.
- No height or weight requirements.
- No language requirements, our event is completely bilingual (English & Spanish)
